PSC 331 - United States Foreign Policy[3 credit(s)] Prerequisite: Must have at least sophomore standing to be eligible for this course. Major issues of American involvement in world politics; analysis of contemporary events and current international tensions; the politics of rivalry and alliance; the evolution of defense strategy; military interventions; diplomatic negotiations; the role of ideology, trade, and aid; U.S. foreign policy decision-making; theories of bureaucracy; interagency and interbranch relations; and role perceptions.
