REL 341 - Judaism in the Greek and Roman Worlds[3 credit(s)] A critical examination of the history, literature, and religion of the Jewish people in the Post-Exilic Era, with special emphasis on the Greco-Roman period. Themes include the interplay of political history and religious innovation, and Jewish strategies for maintaining a distinct cultural and religious identity in conversation with a dominant Hellenistic culture.
