BUS 201 - Applied Business Statistics[3 credit(s)] Prerequisite: MTH 149 or its equivalent with a grade of “C” or better. Application of statistical methods to business problems; topics include descriptive statistics (tabular, graphical, and numerical measures), elementary probability, discrete and continuous random variables and probability distributions (normal, standard normal and ‘t’ distributions); interval estimation and hypothesis testing about a single population mean and proportion, and simple linear regression.
This course may fulfill a General Education Requirement.
