FIN 621 - International Financial Management(4 credits) Prerequisite: FIN 601. An overview of the international financial system and the application of principles of business finance in an international context. The course considers foreign exchange markets, balance of payments and exchange rate policies, financial functions in the multinational firm, including capital budgeting, cost of capital and capital structure, intracompany payments and taxation of multinational firms and export companies, motivations for direct foreign investment, international accounting, and the international banking and financial system.
