PSY 572 - Therapeutic Interventions for Children and Adolescents(3 credits) Prerequisite: This course is reserved for students in the School Psychology M.A. specialization. Development of the therapeutic alliance, active listening skills (e.g.,focusing, interpretation, paraphrasing), clinical interviewing, and group process. Instruction employs didactic lectures, modeling, class exercises, and student role-play. Emphasis on evidence-based school -based group intervention programs and techniques.
