SWK 646 - Social Welfare Policy I(3 credits) Prerequisite: Degree-seeking MSW student or permission of program director. Examines the historical role of social policy in the United States in relation to diversity issues and values and ethics in the profession. Attention is also given to the role of policy in achieving maximum social, economic, and emotional and physical well being.
