EDS 316 - Secondary Social Studies Instruction and Assessment

(4 credits)
Prerequisite(s): EDB 305  and EDL 305 . Concurrent enrollment in EST 372 . Explores concepts, purposes, and underlying assumptions of teaching and assessing social sciences; develops activities to improve intermediate and secondary student’s interest and competence in democratic citizenship in a pluralistic society; addresses interdisciplinary curriculum linkages.
