ART 441 - Art and Social Justice[3 credit(s)]
The purpose of the course is to provide an overview of the way in which art serves as an important locus of discourses on society, politics, identity and culture. The course’s aim is to bring to a greater understanding of the impact of the arts on social, political, and cultural transformation. It is the Capstone Course for the Art Education major and promotes skills in writing, critical thinking, and oral communication.
