OSM 413 - Production Planning & Control[3 credit(s)] Prerequisite: OMS/OSM 311 or permission of the instructor. Advanced study of planning, scheduling, and controlling of activities related to the production of goods are examined. In-depth topics include manufacturing planning and control, short-term forecasting systems, demand management and order servicing, sales and operations planning (SOP), master production scheduling (MPS), enterprise resource planning (ERP), material requirements planning (MRP), capacity requirements planning (CRP), and distribution requirements planning (DRP).
