OSM 445 - Quality Management[3 credit(s)] Prerequisite: OMS/OSM 311. This course covers the core principles of the management of quality in the production of goods and services and provides an in-depth treatment of statistical quality control techniques used in the implementation of these principles. Advanced topics include TQM, continuous improvement, control charts, sampling plans, process capability, and ISO 9000. Applicable computer software is used to implement the techniques.
