NUR 512 - Forensics Methodologies[3 credit(s)]
Course will focus on the physical, psychological, epidemiological and legal examination performed to identify, collect, and preserve evidence, identify physical and psychological trauma, and document injuries. Included will be an overview of the interview/history, physical exam, evidence collection and discharge process of patients experiencing acts of violence or traumatic incidences. Special attention will be given to victims of domestic violence, abuse and sexual assault.
