COM 633 - Content Analysis Research Methods[3 credit(s)] An empirical and systematic investigation of documented messages in print, graphical, and audio-visual forms and observed human communication behaviors. Focuses on the design and execution of content analytic studies, including form vs. content variables, measurement issues, reliability and validity assessment, a systems view of research findings, use of a computer text analysis program, and traditional human-coder techniques.
