MME 513 - Advanced Strength of Materials[4 credit(s)]
Prerequisite: ESC 211. This course fosters an understanding of a number of advanced concepts in the field of engineering mechanics. Topics include three-dimensional stress-strain relationships: failure theories; bending of non-symmetrical members; curved beam theory; beams on elastic foundations torsion of non-circular shafts using the thin membrane analogy, and plate theory.
