NUR 502 - Theory Development in Nursing[3 credit(s)]
This course establishes the expectation focusing theory as a framework in graduate level nursing practice. Nursing theorists, models and concepts from the theories will be discussed, emphasizing those consistent with the stress model of the CSU School of Nursing. Theory development will be considered essential for the development of the discipline. Theory and models as applied to population health, families, communication and health promotion are also addressed.
