PSY 604 - Concepts and Methods of Individual Psychotherapy[3 credit(s)] Prerequisite: This course is reserved for students in the Clinical Psychology M.A. specialization. An introduction to the concepts and methods underlying a wide range of individual psychotherapeutic interventions, as well as an exploration of the assumptions and socio-historical foundations of the psychotherapies. Examines and explores concepts underlying a number of specific therapeutic approaches as well as problems and solutions regarding eclecticism and therapeutic integration.
