MGT 690 - Professional Internship[1-3 credit(s)]
Prerequisites: Two MGT courses, at least one of which must be at the 600 level and permission of the Internship Coordinator or Department Chair. Provides students with an opportunity to gain practical experience in human resources, labor relations, and/or management. Must be arranged in advance of the semester at the initiative of the student or the Internship Coordinator. Students must work a minimum of 14 hours per week during the semester under the supervision of a professional manager with fewer semester hours offered for fewer hours of work. A written report in a format agreed to in advance is required.
