EST 578 - Internship One: Moderate/Intensive Educational Needs[3 credit(s)]
Prerequisite(s): Must be enrolled as a graduate student in the College of Education, have completed all prerequisite and/or corequisite courses, have a cumulative GPA of 3.00. Prior application and approval of the Office of Field Services. University-supervised Internship One experience in K-12 special education setting; 180 hours over a prescribed number of weeks, observing and teaching or providing intervention services under the direction of a mentor teacher. Required for licensure as a Moderate/Intensive Intervention Specialist.
