NUR 518 - Nursing Education Leadership[3 credit(s)] Prerequisites: Admission to the MSN program or permission of the instructor. The course examines leadership in nursing education from a faculty perspective. Concepts are analyzed from the perspective of leadership, organization and management theories. Leadership decision making and conflict management are explored with an emphasis on collaboration and interprofessional development. Legal and ethical implications of leadership decisions surrounding education, research and diversity are discussed.
