CHE 307 - Chemical Engineering Methods[3 credit(s)] Prerequisites: ENG 100/ ENG 101 and ENG 102/ESC 102, each with a grade of ‘C’ or better; CHE 300; and ESC 152 or equivalent. Co-requisites: CHE 302 and CHE 306, or permission of the instructor. Mathematical formulation of Engineering problems and introduction to Numerical Analysis. Review of software applications for non-linear and iterative calculations in Engineering. Introduction to Process Simulators, Preliminary Statistical concepts on experimental design, data collection, and analysis of experimental data. Introduction to preparation and presentation of technical reports.
