EVS 425 - Introduction to Remote Sensing: Practicum[2 credit(s)] Prerequisite(s): EVS or GEO 323 or permission of instructor. Required corequisite: EVS 424. Practicum on concepts and practice in the application of remotely sensed imagery to field sciences, as introduced in EVS 424. It will concentrate on the use of satellite imagery and aerial photography, as well as standardized data sets available from commercial sources and the WorldWide Web. Laboratory is selected exercises designed to reinforce concepts covered in lecture.
