MPH 691 - Grant Writing in Public Health Practice

(3 credits)
Prerequisite(s): Graduate standing in the M.P.H program. Directed elective for M.P.H. students without grant writing experience. Taught using a combination of classroom and web-based instruction, this course provides methods and techniques for writing and managing grant proposals to support public health programs. Emphasis on development of grant proposals, including narrative, program plan, evaluation design, timeline, budget and budget justification, identification of grant sources, managing funded projects, and use and development of requests for proposals.
