SWK 680 - Aging & Social Work Practice[3 credit(s)]
Prerequisites: GSW Major. SWK 501, SWK 502, SWK 503, SWK 504, SWK 505, SWK 506, SWK 507, SWK 508, SWK 509, and SWK 510; or permission of the program; or advanced standing admission. This course examines the well being and service needs of older Americans. Further, it acquaints students with the benefits, resources, and services available to meet the needs of the elderly in multiple settings as determined by policies, programs, service agencies, and intervention strategies in the field of aging.
