ALD 589 - Health Professions Education Capstone Portfolio Seminar II

Prerequisites: EDB 601, ALD 605, ALD 664, ALD 511, ALD 588, ALD 510, ALD 663, ALD 545, and an elective approved by the student’s advisor. This capstone seminar is the final requirement in the program, it is designed to highlight students’ readiness as health professions educators. Throughout the program, students have developed an overall skill set that will enable them to undertake the role of educators, program planners, assessors of learning, program evaluators, and educational leaders; this course builds on this and provides students with an opportunity to reflect on what they have learned and consider how their work can impact health professions education. Students will complete their educator portfolios, started in ALD 588 demonstrating achievement of the program competencies.
