WGS 490 - Women’s and Gender Studies Internship[1-6 credit(s)] Prerequisites: WGS 151 and permission of internship director. Provides WGS students an engaged learning opportunity to related their academic experience to women’s and gender issues in the community. Students can apply to participate in an internship to gain experience working in a women’s or gender issue related non-profit organization or business. Applications should be submitted to the Women’s and Gender Studies Program Director. May be repeated for a maximum of 6 credit hours (only 3 credit hours can count toward the major).
