SOC 316 - Sociology of Aging[3 credit(s)] Prerequisite: Must have at least sophomore standing to be eligible for this course. Critical analysis of the social status and participation of older persons in modern societies. Included topics such as theories of aging, demography, family ties, economic status, health-care delivery systems and long-term care, dying and death, and the U.S. as an aging society.
