BIO 579 - Plant Ecology Laboratory

[1 credit(s)]
Prerequisites: Graduate student in Biology or Environmental Science programs or permission of instructor. Corequisite: Bio 578 Plant Ecology. This course is an overview of laboratory and field methods in plant ecology. Topics will cover scales from individuals, populations, and communities to ecosystems. Students will develop skills in plant field techniques, critical thinking, application of ecological concepts, and experimental design.
