CNS 650 - Case Conceptualization and Treatment[3 credit(s)] Prerequisites: Admission to the graduate program in counseling and CNS 620, CNS 622, CNS 524/624. Designed to help counseling students use diagnostic information in planning appropriate counseling interventions with clients. Students become familiar with major treatment modalities and learn to make effective choices among them for individual clients. The role of cultural, social, and individual variables in treatment planning is emphasized. Case studies are utilized frequently.
