ETE 507 - Instructional Technology[2 credit(s)] This course provides an overview of employing effective instruction while integrating technology. Teachers will build knowledge on emerging technology, choosing and evaluating technology software and hardware tools, and incorporating tools in classroom instruction. Teachers will use technology to assess student learning and make data informed instructional decisions for diverse learner characteristics (language, language varieties, identity, culture, development and exceptionalities). Teachers will explore digital communication and collaboration techniques to support student learning and professional growth. Teachers will become aware and will use this knowledge to create a positive classroom learning community by affirming, supporting and engaging students.
