FIN 201 - Personal Financial Planning[3 credit(s)] Introduction to concepts in finance (risk, return, liquidity, horizon, inflation, and taxation) applied to personal financial planning; the impact of career choice on discretionary income; financial statements and budgeting; how to use credit appropriately; insurance (property, liability, health, and life) fundamentals; passive investment in stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real assets, etc. NOTE: BBA students may take this course only as a free elective.
