PHL 216 - Data Ethics[3 credit(s)] Pre-req: GenEd Eng/Comp. This course examines the social and ethical issues related to data collection, analysis, and processing. Topics will include philosophical investigations of informational privacy, informed consent, and algorithmic processing of data. Skills developed will include ethical analysis, argument construction, and writing for an audience.
