MTH 515 - Real Analysis

This course gives a rigorous introduction to the real numbers. Topics include sequences and series, basic topology of the real numbers, functional limits and continuity, the derivative, sequences and series of functions, the Riemann integral, and metric spaces. The major application is Fourier series. Credit cannot be earned for this course if a student has already taken MTH 415.
