ACT 456 - Applied Risk Assessments

Prerequisite: ACT 221. This course exposes students to processes used by organizations to assess and to evaluate risks. The course considers risk assessments for organizations at the macro level (taking world affairs and the global economy into account), at the industry level, and at the organizational level. Financial risk assessments will also be considered. Approaches to risk mitigation (for downside risks) and risk exploitation (for upside risks) will also be discussed.
