EVS 206 - Introduction to Environmental Science

Environmental science is interdisciplinary, spanning natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities. An array of topics will be studied, such as climate change, biodiversity loss, the dynamics of human populations and economies, urbanization and other land use changes, pollution, scarcity and management of water, and sustainable production of food and energy. The role of humans in the Earth System is a point of emphasis.
