MTH 116 - Foundations of Quantitative Literacy

[3 credit(s)]
Prerequisite: Grade of SC or better in MTH 87 or suitable placement-exam score. This course is designed to develop quantitative reasoning skills as applied to personal and social issues. Students will learn mathematics and basic statistics needed for success in other college courses, advancement of one’s career, and understanding of major issues in life. This course is for students not planning to major in a field requiring advanced mathematical skills.
