MTH 496 - Senior Project

Prerequisites: Completion of the Core Curriculum Research & Professional Writing requirement. MTH 396 (grade of C or better) and at least two other mathematics courses numbered 300 or above, or departmental approval. Prerequisite or corequisite: At least one other mathematics course numbered 400 or above, or departmental approval. Working individually with a faculty supervisor, the student will incorporate concepts from appropriate literature and write a final paper that contains a significant mathematical or statistical result or application.
