PHL 215 - Technology Ethics

This course investigates the fundamental moral responsibilities that should guide the designers of technology and should guide all of us in our embrace of technology. Along the way, we will also be asking other questions at the frontier of technological design, such as: How have recent technological developments changed our lives? What sorts of powers does technology exercise over us? Should we use technology to make us better people? How can we design technology for good?
