MTX 393 - Music Therapy Advanced Practicum Seminar

[3 credit(s)]
Prerequisites: Music therapy majors only; successful completion of MTX 372, MTX 382, and MTX 391 (2 iterations). Co-requisites: MTX 373 (not required for second iteration of MTX 393); MTX 383 or MTX 384; MTX 395 (both iterations). This advanced seminar supports the transition from student to music therapy intern. Students demonstrate increasing independence, refine clinical musicianship, and integrate evidence-based, ethical, and culturally responsive approaches within advanced practicum experiences. This course must be successfully completed twice with at least a B- (80% average) each time to count toward the music therapy undergraduate degree (or its post-bac equivalent).
