BIO 433 - Data Management and Machine Learning for Natural Sciences

Prerequisites: Successful completion of BIO 431 or permission of instructor. Students will learn how to create and work with relational and object-relational databases (e.g., SQL) and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for efficient data management and highly reproducible scientific workflows. A comprehensive exploration into machine learning, guiding students on managing, processing, and interpreting large datasets from both biological and environmental sources using machine learning techniques.
