NUR 232 - Clinical Nursing Skills Lab in Residence

Prerequisite: Admission to Online Accelerated Nursing Program (OABSN). Corequisite: OABSN: NUR 230. This hybrid course introduces students to essential clinical nursing skills required for safe, effective, and evidence-based care. Students will learn and practice foundational psychomotor skills in a simulated lab environment, emphasizing patient safety, infection control, communication, and documentation. The course integrates case-based learning and interprofessional collaboration to prepare students for clinical decision-making in diverse healthcare settings. Students will be required to attend an on-campus residency for skill demonstration and competency evaluation.
