NUR 433 - Nursing Care of Women and Infants Clinical & Simulation in Residence[1 credit(s)] Prerequisite: Admission to the Online Accelerated BSN Track (OABSN). Corequisite: NUR 431. This hybrid clinical course provides hands-on experience in maternal-newborn care across prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn settings. Students will apply family- centered care principles, cultural competence, and evidence-based interventions in real and simulated environments. Shadow Health virtual simulations and high-fidelity scenarios will be integrated to enhance clinical judgment and decision-making skills. Student will attend an on-campus residency to participate in high-fidelity simulation and competency evaluation.
