NUR 466 - Chronic Disease Management & Care Coordination Across the Lifespan (Simulation) in Residence

Prerequisite: Admission to the Online Accelerated BSN track (OABSN). This hybrid simulation course focuses on communication and care coordination for managing chronic disease and providing palliative care. Students will engage in high-impact simulation experiences. Emphasis is placed on interprofessional collaboration, care coordination, use data to create a person-centered interprofessional plan of care sensitive cultural background. A reflective journal assignment will reinforce learning and application of concepts. Students will be required to attend an on-campus residency to participate in high-fidelity simulation and complete competency evaluations.
