NUR 462H - Precepted Immersion with Evidence-Based Practice Project (Honors)

[4 credit(s)]
Prerequisite: Enrolled in last semester of program and participation in the Honors Program. Corequisite: None. This senior-level Honors clinical immersion advances the integration of evidence into practice through guided preceptorship (120 clinical hours) and a focused Evidence Based Practice (EBP) project (30 hours). Honors students will critically appraise nursing evidence, and apply implementation science to design a feasible, ethical, and culturally responsive EBP project aligned with quality improvement and patient safety standards. Using an established EBP framework, students will analyze the local context, engage stakeholders to plan, and disseminate a scholarly proposal for a significant clinical problem.

Semesters Offered: When demand is sufficient
