BIO 104H - Neuroscience: Exploring the Brain

(3 credits)
Prerequisite(s): Honors students; Corequisites: BIO 105H . Honors course will survey the organization and function of the mammalian brain, emphasizing the human brain when possible. The nervous system is analyzed throughout a range of levels from the molecular basis of neuronal functioning to the system levels that govern behavior and cognition. The course will emphasize fundamental principles of neural functioning and the experimental methods by which information is obtained.
