School Health Education and Multi-Age Licensure
Specialization leading to a Master of Education degree.
40-49 credit hours leading to a degree and Ohio State licensure.
Introduction
This program is a combination of the curriculum and instruction Master’s degree program in school health education and multi-age licensure in health education. Students analyze and interpret current research in the health field and become knowledgeable in areas of primary concern, such as nutrition and substance abuse in the schools. Particular focus is placed on recent developments and trends in health fields. Two program options are available: (1) Master’s degree and second licensure for current holders of a multi-age license and (2) Master’s degree and initial licensure for persons without a current teaching license.
