Graphic Design Certificate

Total hours required for the certificate: 21.

This certificate program is intended for students who are not pursuing the Design concentration in the Studio Art and Design track of the Art Major, but who wish to add a qualification in Graphic Design to their area of study or who are returning to school to obtain such a qualification  The certificate program is an alternative to a traditional four-year art degree for creative and self-motivated students who specifically want to develop their technical proficiency, aesthetic sensibility, and design expertise.

The certificate program requires 15 credit hours in the Department of Art in addition to 6 credit hours of prerequisite courses.
