Anthropology Minor

A minor in anthropology complements majors in disciplines such as biology, geology, linguistics, psychology, and urban studies. A minimum of 15 credit hours is required for the anthropology minor. A grade of C or better must be earned in courses used to fulfill requirements for the minor. The requirements for the Anthropology Minor for students entering CSU this academic year and thereafter are as follows:

Foundations in Anthropology (6 credit hours)
Any two courses in this category, one of which must be ANT 101 or ANT 102 :
Anthropology Core Course (3 credit hours)
Any course in this category: Anthropology Electives (6 credit hours)
- One course between ANT 100 and ANT 149 may fulfill requirement
- One course between ANT 150 and ANT 299 may fulfill requirement
- Up to 3 credit hours of ANT 496 Independent Study.
