NEUROSCIENCE MINOR
Neuroscience is the study of the structure and function of the brain and the nervous system and the relation of these to cognition, affect, and behavior. The Neuroscience Minor permits a student’s focus on neuroscience to be recognized. The requirements of the minor may be completed by taking courses in psychology, biology, health sciences, and speech and hearing; a student may partially fulfill the requirements of the minor by arranging to complete an independent study. (Up to a total of four credits of PSY 397 and HSC 495 will may be used to fulfill the requirements of the minor.) Completion of the minor may enhance preparation for graduate study or health-related careers.

Students can choose from the courses below to accumulate a total of 15 credits. Up to four credits of PSY 397 and HSC 495 - Neuroscience Independent Study may be included in the 15 required credits.
