The Certificate in Supply Chain and Quality Management is designed to provide the necessary knowledge for supply chain professionals, quality managers to understand, improve and implement advanced supply chain and quality management concepts to increase efficiency and productivity.
Admission to the Supply Chain and Quality Management Certificate Program is open to the following:
- Current undergraduate students in good academic standing
- Individuals with a bachelor’s degree
Admission to the certificate program and course schedules are determined by the OSM Department.
The program currently consists of one core course and four elective courses. These courses can be completed within one year. OSM 311 (or equivalent) is a prerequisite course that must be completed first. OSM 311 can be taken in the classroom or online. Each of the elective courses should be chosen from at least one from each major topical area outlined by the certificate. These areas include, 1) quality management philosophy and methods, 2) understanding core operations functions, 3) understanding supply chain integration and coordination, and 4) analytical models.
A minimum grade of C is required in each course to earn the certificate.
