Property Management Major, B.B.A.

DESCRIPTION

Studying property management provides students with basic business knowledge along with in-depth knowledge of management of various real estate properties. In addition, the program provides knowledge in areas such as leasing policies/consulting, legal issues, marketing and management strategies, tenant relations, accounting, maintenance, and communication.

WHAT CAREERS CAN THIS MAJOR PREPARE YOU FOR?

The Property Management program will prepare students for a career in the property management industry. Graduates of the program will have career opportunities to manage a variety of commercial, industrial and residential properties and real estate holdings, which can include apartments, detached houses, condominium units, shopping centers and other types of property.

Major Declaration Standards

  • Completion of the required BBA lower core coursework with a final grade of C or better.

Hours Required for Degree


Minimum hours required for degree: 120

Students majoring in Property Management must complete a minimum of 33 credit hours of property management and associated coursework beyond the college lower and upper core requirements.

Graduation requirements: Completion of required M/QL courses and all PRM major courses: Business core, PRM core and concentration with a final grade of C or higher
