Introduction
The Data Analytics Certificate gives students a foundation in the knowledge and skills needed to analyze and present data. Students completing the certificate will understand the basics of database management and data visualization and possess a solid understanding of the ethical issues involved with data collection and use. Elective courses provide the opportunity to further develop these skills through discipline specific applications.

Admission to Program
Students must complete a descriptive or inferential statistics course such as: Requirements
A Certificate in Data Analytics consists of 15 credits with a grade of C or better in each course. Residency Requirement: Students must complete a minimum of 9 of these credits at CSU to earn the Certificate. Electives
Choose 2 courses from the following list. Note well that students will need to meet appropriate prerequisites for each course. The concept is that the two elective courses they choose are most likely in their area of study. |
